Simon, it's fun to have been able to show it and know someone had been there, too. I went with a Calvary Chapel from CA team back in '95. Paul was the driver. THAT was quite a trip. Came back to New Hope filthy and bruised, but it was a blessing to be there. Have lots of pictures; might pop some to you.
Sandra, it is White Nile and no matter how I've checked it out, it seems that when the two Niles hit Khartoum, Sudan, those are given their different names. And, yes, there are falls, and some really amazing rapids. Know people who take those "rapidly" intense rides; that would not be me.
I attended the online Saddleback Church service today to hear Nick Vujicic. His words truly touched my heart. I can not believe how emotional I still am. "If I fail, I try again, again, and again.. If you fail, are you going to try again? If you can't get miracle, become one". Nick Vujicic I love Sundays! Thank you for your wonderful words last week.
That God will make peace flow over us, regardless of our circumstances, is one of His most amazing gifts and one the world will never understand and one we will never deserve.
Beautiful, caryjo! Thanks so much for your comment on Saved by Grace! I got an email about your comment, but for some reason, it didn't appear on the blog! :-( God bless, Laurie

Wow, yes, I echo the comment above about the power of this verse and these photos. Thanks for sharing!
That verse is convicting.
I love the sound and the whole scenery of the great Murchison Falls as both display the greatness of our God. Thanks for sharing
That's breathtaking. I never thought about a waterfall in the Nile. This is the White Nile, right? How did they come up with White Nile and Blue Nile?
Beautiful post, Carryjo. Thank you for this. May your days ahead be filled with the peace and prosperity that comes from abiding in Christ.

This is beautiful! I love the imagery in Isaiah. Perfect pairing!
Lovely! Such a great visual for the abundance of God. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wonderful, and creative too.
..."peace flowing like a river" , yes I crave some of that. Continuing to cling to God's word to claim His peace.
