WORSHIP & GLORIFY & PRAISE & HONOR

For about 2 years, this is what I'd been doing then and what I've been doing more.  This is a significant portion of the words to the Lord and He dropped it onto me.  I've been doing it several times a day.  At night when I'm in the bed I'm singing it and early morning when I just wake up I do it. I use these words and lot of others that have dropped into me by the Lord about a year ago.  Worth a wonderful time of day and wonderful time to focus on Heaven.   Bless you all and thank you.

BLESSING, HONOR, AND WISDOM... FOREVER AND EVER!!

That is what is on my heart consistently for the past stretch of years.  Every day I say and sing in our house or in a car or when I can walk outside with my canes and I use strongly the words of glory, worship, honor, and thankfulness.  Since my body and brain don't work as well... even to read and write re: the Bible... all I can do is sing to and for Him.  Sure loved to see this photo this evening and it grabbed my attention and my heart.  So, sending it out again to share.

[I have another verse from Psalms that has grabbed me, too, so I hope I can find a good photo with that one in a day or so.  Do what I can, when I can, how I can.]

WORSHIPING THE LORD IS ALL THAT COUNTS!!

I've been a Revelation addict for years and years and in my present-day time these Words are very strongly in me.  I say many of them during the day and night when worshiping, spreading honor and power, and glorifying for the Heavenly Father.  Anyhow, when I found this photo again when looking around my piles of pictures, this grabbed me.
Bless you and yours forever, and I look forward to Heaven and many of the people in those thousands of years and very local years.  Hope the Lord will put up with me there as well as He has delivered me, healed me, and shown love to me in a variety of ways and places in this world.
Anyway, Dave has continued to be a wonderful husband and we have served and worked for the Lord and worshiped the Lord and expect that being in Heaven is a truly good opportunity.  So, I worship and pray and glorify to and at the Lord.  Look at Heaven significantly!!

[BTW, this is an explanation of how the Lord has been so special to and for Dave and I.  In September, '03,  Dave and I both thought strongly that I must go to Soroti, Uganda, as the Lord has said, and we both thought I would be killed in that area.  But the Lord strongly told me to go, and Dave heard and nodded, too, and  we felt that was very much necessary to do whatever the Lord wanted me to do.  When the timing was strongly dropped on, Dave walked with me for about an hour at the Omaha airplane location, November 10, '03, and Dave and I hugged and kissed many times and we both thought I would never be back.  Dave came the end January, '04,  when he had a way to be out of his job for a vacation. We were there a couple weeks so we could spend time with our Ugandan friends and "family" from the few years we'd been there.  And they absolutely LOVE Dave!  AND they put up with me.  DUH! When he got there when he landed... and brought a couple computers for a couple of the pastors in Soroti who had come down to meet him ... and when he arrived he saw very strongly that  I had malaria and was very seriously exhausted.  I had been in dangerous situations a number of times, but was always protected and used as a "God-gift" to many.  When I was home in mid- Feb. then until May '04 my exhaustion had continued.  Then I was OK.   Well, God had used me strongly, but He had protected me even when in serious situations. ]

Dave and I were at a hotel at Kampala for a couple days.  Our Ugandan son was with us for a day and we were heading to the airport the next day.  We both LOOKED good, and pleased that I hadn't been murdered, but tiredness was a strong situation for days for Dave and lots of weeks for me.

OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS WHAT COUNTS!

This is what I count on, moment-by-moment, day-by-day, and heart-to- heart.
I have truly focused on the Lord's gift to us of those words re: Glory, Honor, and Peace.
He's truly kind, and truly reaching out and touching to us consistently.

Facing Christmas time needs us to be consistently focusing on Him and that's what truly counts.

Bless you and yours and be filled with love through our Heavenly Father.
[Oh, and, BTW, I've loved this zoo!]

GLORY, HONOR, & PEACE!

THAT'S WHAT I RELY UPON...
AND I'M TRYING TO OBEY HIM...
MOMENT-BY-MOMENT,
DAY-BY-DAY,
FOREVER AND EVER.
I KNOW OF MY SIGNIFICANT SINFULNESS IN THE PAST,
AND REMEMBER TOO MANY OTHER THINGS
IN THESE YEARS THAT I'VE DONE WRONG,
EVEN THOUGH THE LORD FORGAVE ME.
BTW, I'M CONSISTENTLY BEING
A WORSHIPER, A SERVER, A PROTECTOR.
THAT'S WHAT COUNTS IN MY HEART.

ANGELS SAYING "AMEN!!"

When reading Revelation ... since the Lord has laid it on me many, many times... this Word jumped at me a couple days ago.
This verse shows many words, and filled with
truthfulism and glorifying to and for our Lord.
Rejoicing is what counts, as it says,
 "Forever and ever!"

PROPHETIC IS A CHALLENGE LOCALLY AND WITH FAMILY!

DAVE AND I WERE THERE; HE TOOK THE PHOTO.
THE FAMILY NAMED DANGERS WERE THERE,
OTHER FRIENDS OF THEIRS AND UGANDAN KIDS.
ANYWHERE WE OR THEY ARE, STILL,
AND SEEING THE REALITY AROUND AND ABOUT US,
AND SHARING THE PROPHETIC PORTION THAT'S IN US,
WE ALL ARE OFTEN IGNORED.
THE PHOTO WAS 20 YEARS AGO.
IN THE DISTANCE OF OUR TIME,
MUCH HAS CHANGED ALL OVER THE WORLD.
[BTW, DAVE AND I LOVE UGANDA!!!
AND OUR "FAMILY" AND FRIENDS IN UGANDA.]

HE CREATED EVERYTHING...

HE DIDN'T CREATE JUST US,
BUT EVERYTHING.
AND, SOMETIMES CHARACTERS,
JUST LIKE US,
SERVE HIM STRONGLY OR SIN  INTENSELY.

WANT TO, NEED TO FOCUS, MOMENT-BY-MOMENT,
ON OUR CREATOR.

KABUJOGERA, UGANDA -- DAY 3 -- BABY

Sometimes we forget, can't follow-through, because so much is on our plates.  But God prods and prods, and taps and taps ... and blesses us.

You see, Sunday evening, during the dinner time at the Volcano Arcade Hotel [always have to write the whole name, because the title makes me grin], Tim, Robert, and Israel were contacted by the local police leader who was in charge of their town, Jackson Ndungo.  He had heard we were there and he came to rededicate his life to the Lord.  He had a very serious limp after a motorcycle accident.   It SO fit right into my teaching on Sunday afternoon about "Everybody Has A Limp!"  When I drifted off to my room, The pastors told him we were going to talk to his wife Monday after the class was out.

Well, we didn't.  I hit the bed right after finishing my spiritual warfare teaching session that covered a fair amount of time that day.  Tim and the other men were taking care of the conference pastors and answering more of their questions.  Then dinner.  We all forgot this plan to go to Jackson's home.

When we realized the forgetfulness, we committed between ourselves, to go on Tuesday morning, before the service would begin.  Pastor Robert and Tim and I went to see Jackson and meet his wife.

You would have to see it to believe it.  Since Jackson was the main police officer of the village, he should have some sort of honor attached, right?  Well, in our city, and many other places, he'd have a house or nice apartment.  There, he lived in an 8 x 10 room in a compound with his wife and new baby.  It had a twin bed, a shelf, a couple of small stools, and a boom/box stereo.  Their clothes were hung on nails.  We all crammed into that little room and Tim talked with Jackson about his commitment to the Lord, answered a few of his questions, and then asked his wife, Beatrace, if she wanted to make a commitment.  Eventually, we found that she had already done so a couple years earlier, but was in a backslidden condition.  She prayed with us and rededicated her life to the Lord.  It went beautifully.

Their baby was a 3-day old girl. Jackson asked me to hold her -- not a problem, as she was a little doll -- and then Robert, on behalf of the parents, asked me to name her and dedicate her to God.  I was so blown away that it took a couple minutes to get my brain working -- had never done anything like this in my life.  Finally, the name that came to me was Hannah.  And then I prayed over her, focusing on Hannah's faith and her commitment to seek God.  I gathered it was not an easy name to say in this tribal tongue, but Jackson kept practicing and when he said "Anna" he quickly corrected himself and said "Hannah".  I was so overwhelmed by the honor, I could hardly take it in.

Sitting on a bench outside after the dedication.

AND the "official" conference day had not yet begun.  It was Am-A-zing!  When I share that one, you should grin -- and rejoice with the rest of us, too, who were involved.

==========

2006
NOW, about 4 years ago a letter was sent to us from Uganda. The address happened to be our former home, and the owners kept it at the house knowing we'd come by someday.  It was WEEKS later when Dave and I were going past and decided to pop in and see how the Schafers were doing.  They handed the envelope to us, and when I opened it, a letter and photos were there from Jackson.  The family had moved further southwest, and they were attending a Full Gospel church, the letter written in that church office.

Jackson told about Beatrace and daughter, Hannah, whose name is now Mariam Hannah, a name easier to be spoken by family and friends.  So blessed that they kept the name.  Hope to find them again.
