MY BHUTANESE ARE WONDERFUL!

Six-and-a half years ago suddenly when the Lord told me to walk on a portion of our street area, and, at that time I thought I was to walk about a couple miles and worship and pray.  Well, when I was going, suddenly I met a couple people who were Bhutanese.  I hadn't known any of that at first.  WELL, it was a surprising and shocking opportunity to be a missionary here in our area.  I was used to do a lot of stuff for about five years.  They got strong jobs and lots of wonderful homes and lots of cars... so I couldn't be the one to go to the airport and help pick people us, etc.  And I'd been with dozens in the hospitals.  My husband has been a pianist at wedding or teaching a couple, and providing computers for many and reworking what they needed.  Anyhow, every Sunday I go to their church only about three blocks from my house, and, even though I don't understand their language, they are worshiping, and singing, and doing wonderful things.  So I'm given hugs and kisses from a bunch of them and I'm referred to as "Sister", "Mom", "Grandma", "Great-Grandma".  Always makes me SMILE!   Dave can't be there, because he's working at churches... piano or organ and fixing things... and he leaves home about 7 AM and gets home finally at about 4 PM.  But he's been much appreciated and loved.
Anyhow, I'll just show a few pictures.  I've had hundreds, but hope to make you all smile.  We LOVED being missionaries in Uganda for a few years, dropped into Costa Rica for a short time, in England, in Paris, and, as a me-thing, I was in Morocco for a few weeks.  We can't go anywhere else as a few years ago indicated by the Lord, because of his job situation.  SO, the Lord put us strongly into the Bhutanese to be helpful.  Love them and appreciate how the Lord did that.
The first time... Ram and Dawa ... and their son was the pastor. His youngest sister.

Nar, the pastors wife.  She's my girl!!

He's one of my grandsons.  Very sick consistently!

This was a wonderful time at another spiritual church here in town.

The church has become MUCH larger with many of them!

Love these guys!  Brothers and a Son!

Another of our favorites!!!

Wonderful wedding!!!  Dave and I loved this!!

Sure loved seeing this!!!  Many are my dear, dear friends.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm not sure if I can ever put anything on again.  My dementia has increased and my body and brain are a challenge.  I can worship the Lord, glorify, pray, praise, and honor.  I do that all day and all night.  I'm in bed for about 12 or 13 hours, but sleep some of the time, but wake up and focus on the Lord.  He's using me in unusual ways re: my dreams.  Anyhow, just want to let you know that, since it's been about 7-1/2 years on the blogging.  I can't read very often of all of you and I can't write much.  So, just want to let you know.  Thank you much.  Love many of you and appreciate you around and about re: serving the Lord with they you have shared your info.  Bless you!!

YES! A HUGE BLESSING!!

When the Lord laid it on me today to put pieces on my blog, and I looked around for quite a while, I suddenly saw this and was filled with rejoicefulness of the Lord's kindness.
As a sinful, fighting, dangerous kid and dealing with serious situations for many years, the Lord had protected me and broke me strongly into Him.  I'm a grateful...GRATEFUL... daughter of His.  Did what I could years and years ago.  Nearly 35 years ago He's had me going into other parts of our nation and, 25 years ago, other parts of the world.  He used me to spread His Word around and worship and, when seeing the demonic portions in many places, He was sent me to drop Him onto many others.  NOW, I can't go very much, very often.  I can't drive, b/c, legally the hospital says I' can't, and can't share and think much,  b/c of my body and brain issue.  However, when in the house or when someone drives me around a bit, I worship and pray for the Lord.
All I can count on, is that when I'm in Heaven I'll be rejoicing strongly to Him.

MY HUBBY'S BIRTHDAY...

[He dropped his poem on to me on May 21, 1985, 2 days after the Lord had put us together.  This was a true gift.  I have had it on my dresser in a frame ever since.  It's still a HUGE blessing.  Filled with truthfulness when he wrote it when he was at the AFB and gave it to me suddenly.]
 =========================

How can such a tough cookie be so fragile?
              Yet you are.
                           And I understand.

Fragileness is a part of your beauty, like a flower,
and your willingness to risk hurt shown your strength,
which balances and makes you whole.

I pray that i see your fragility,
so i can trust you as i ought.
I would loathe to crush the flower underfoot,
when i desire to nurture you and grow you up in Jesus.

I pray the Lord's forgiveness,
                                 and yours,
if i'm not tender when i need to be,
and tough when i need to be.

Love,
   David.

 ============================================
Tomorrow is Dave's birthday.  He'll be 56.  And, shockingly in our world, I'm 70.  He's been a HUGE blessing to me ever since the Lord dropped him into my life.  He's been a wonderful step-dad and loved by grandkids and, as I've said, a huge blessing for me.  I'd never thought, when I married back in Christmas Eve, '68, that I would never be divorced or forced to be apart.  In May, '84, it truly occurred.  And I was a very sad lady re: dealing with my kids and jobs and whatever I could.

Suddenly, May 19, 1985, the Lord put us together.  We were both a bit shocked.  He, the youth director at a church I had entered about 3 months earlier and was at the Offutt AFB, was 25 and had never been married and was a strong Christian since he had come to the Lord officially when he was 10. On the other side, I had come to the Lord when I was 20 [April 15, 1966], and had a terrible history since childhood of fighting, attempting to commit suicide, very drunk sometimes, and, even when about 18 years old in the bars in Washington and Idaho, got mixed badly with the men.  I tried to change when the Lord broke into my life officially, but it took a bit of time.

Anyhow, Dave has been a huge blessing to me.  And, surprisingly, he thinks I'm wonderful, too.  The best I can do is write pieces, take pictures, and show a lot of love through family and friends and serving the Lord.  Because of him, we were missionaries in Uganda.  I'd always WANTED to be a missionary when I came to the Lord, but couldn't do it.  We did it then.  He is/was a real treat to me.

I don't know if I can keep blog pieces very often... my dementia and body and other issues keep me from doing all I want.  I sleep nearly a dozen hours at night and sometimes sleeping a few times during the day.  Oh, well.  And he's working as Facilities Manager at our church, has piano students in a variety of area of Omaha, fixes computers and gives them to people as a gift from the Lord, and plays piano or organ at 3 other churches during the Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday times.  What a guy that blesses many!

Anyhow, just wanted to have people smile.  Our 30th anniversary was 3 weeks ago.  So the blessing has expanded on me!  I love Dave and LOVE THE LORD!!

30th Anniversary; a fun day-time trip!

CONFIDENCE TO MY HEAVENLY FATHER!

MY FEARFULNESS BECAME A BLESSEDNESS!

I'VE RARELY EVER BEEN A HOSPITAL "DOING ANYTHING" PERSON FOR MY WHOLE LIFE.  THEN, NEARLY 5 YEARS AGO, WHEN THE BHUTANESE WERE DROPPED INTO MY LIFE, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE CARS OR WALKER-INNERS,  I WOULD TAKE THEM TO HOSPITALS FOR WHATEVER THEY NEEDED.  SOMETIMES I WAS THERE FOR MANY HOURS, AND BACK AND FORTH FOR DAYS WHEN THEY WERE KEPT IN FOR SURGERY OR OTHER TYPES OF HEALINGS THAT WERE NECESSARY.  SINCE WE COULDN'T EASILY SPEAK TOGETHER, I COULD JUST HOLD
THEIR HANDS AND GIVE THEM HUGS.

THEN NEARLY 4 YEARS AGO I BEGAN TO HELP A FEW OF THE BHUTANESE TO VISIT AND CHECK INTO AT THE IMMANUEL HOSPITAL WHEN THEIR PREGNANCY WAS OFFICIAL.  THE DOCTOR WAS/IS WONDERFUL FOR THEM AND I WAS USUALLY AT THE CHECKING PORTION...  SOMETIMES FOR EVERY MONTH, SOMETIMES FOR EVERY WEEK.  I HUNG OUT AND HELPED AS I COULD.
SOMETIMES DROVE THEM AND SOMETIMES WENT
WITH THEM AS THEY PICKED ME UP.

THEN, WHENEVER A BABY WAS GOING TO ARRIVE, WE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL ANYTIME THAT WAS NECESSARY... MORNINGS, NOONS, OR NIGHTS.  I, CONSEQUENTLY,  NOW HAVE 10 "GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN" THROUGH THEM.  I ALSO EVENTUALLY WAS USED TO HELP DELIVER THE BABIES, ANYTHING THE NURSES USED ME  TO HELP.  I BECAME USED TO IT...WHATEVER IT WAS... AND WASN'T SHOCKED AS MUCH AS BEFORE IN MY LIFE,
 EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN
 MY MID-60S WHEN THIS BEGAN.

HOWEVER, THIS, SHOWN ON THE PHOTO, WAS THE ONLY TIME I HAD TO GO INTO THE SURGERY SITUATION.
I KNEW I NEEDED TO DO IT, BUT I WAS AFRAID OF WHAT I WOULD SEE AND HOW IT WOULD COME TO PASS.
WELL, I MADE IT, AND THE BABY CAME AND THE MOM WAS NOT IN SERIOUS DIFFICULTY.  DURING THE SURGERY, I SIMPLY HELD HER HAND AND TOUCHED HER HAIR,
EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS MOSTLY NOT AWAKE,
NOT MOVING AT ALL.

I HAD TAKEN PICTURES OF THE BABY AND THE FAMILY THAT NIGHT, BUT I HAD GONE HOME ABOUT 5:30 IN THE MORNING.  I RUSHED BACK TO THE HOSPITAL AND GOT THERE ABOUT NOON,
AND THE BABY WAS IN THEIR ROOM
AND I WAS ABLE TO HOLD HIM.
WHAT A TREAT!

AS I SAID AT THE BEGINNING...

MY FEARFULNESS BECAME A BLESSEDNESS!!

MY LOVE!!

IN SEPTEMBER, IT WILL BE 30TH ANNIVERSARY.
ONE REASON HE CHOSE TO KISS ME THIS WAY
WAS BECAUSE OF OUR WEDDING PICTURE,
WHEN HE HELD MY FACE,
WHICH WAS A SURPRISE TO ME
AT THE WEDDING WHEN HE DID THIS.
WHEN I WAS LOOKING AT THIS WORD IN MY BIBLE,
THIS PHOTO GRABBED ME.  HOPE YOU WILL SMILE,
EVEN THOUGH IT'S A LITTLE CRAZY LOOKING.
.
BTW, I'M A PURPLE PERSON AND HE'S A TEAL PERSON.

A DAY OF HUGE BLESSINGS!!

I had no idea, when I woke up at 7:30 yesterday morning, that my day was going be filled with joy, after joy, after joy, and a busy, busy day. Sorry this is so long, but my day was, too.  AND will fill YOU with joy, too!

1)  I went to our church and carried about 18 of my books to give and/or sell to people there.  I had just received 100 of the books on Wednesday from Amazon.  The books weren't entirely cheap, so having them purchased some of the time was helpful.  Well, besides my usual joyful time during worship, this other piece was amazing, too.  I was able to "gift" a few away, in necessary situations.  Also, several were purchased.  I left for home with only 3 in my backpack.  That was a rejoiceful time.

2)  When I got home, I suddenly thought that I needed to contact one of our church friends I hadn't seen for a couple months.  She lived about 20 miles out of town.  And she is a significant nurse teacher.  I knew she was very busy. When I called her, to offer to drive to her house and drop off the 4 books.  She had said a long time ago that, when published, that's what she wanted.  WELL, she said she was leaving to the airport in just a couple hours.  I said, "WHERE???"  And she said, "I'll be landing in the Seattle airport."  I said, "WHAT??? Near where my family is?  What are you doing?"  Well, she described that for a couple months she had been back and forth from Omaha to Tacoma to teach.  I exploded.  "TACOMA?  Where I was raised, where my sisters and others are.  Why didn't you tell me about this???"  She said that she had never known where I had been as a kid. And she loved Mount Rainier, too.  I'm a "mountain" addict.
One of my sisters had suggested a couple weeks ago that, when I get the books I should send her several and she could get them to people and send me the money.  I planned to mail about 10, but with the mailing cost it could be less than comfortable.  When I found out that Lisa was going out for another week, and she was wanting her books before she left and would come by my house, not far from the Omaha airport, I asked if she could take the books out and give them to Betty and it would make it easier for all of us.  Lisa was very happy to do it. I had signed and commented on all the books, I put them in a backpack, and Lisa came by and she happily took them.  And she grinned and said she'd be reading the book on the plane and she could hardly wait.  In Tacoma, she'll be in touch with my sisters and others.  What a treat!

3) THEN, late in the afternoon, we went to a friend's home, another part of town, and we hadn't been there for a couple years, because Dan and Steph and Dave and I kept getting involved with so much else.  It was a dinner time, us and a few more coming, and, other than eating, we were worshiping, praying, sharing the Word.

I was overwhelmed with a "WOW!!!".  A man came, who I didn't know, but when he saw me he said that I had been teaching about spiritual mapping some years ago and he liked it. Oh, MY!!  YES, I had taught much about it.  Some people were filled with intention to go that way.  Some weren't, of course. I told him I  still have books, a cabinet with hundreds of files regarding the spiritual background of our nation and many others in our world.
Then a lady came in and said she was so happy to see me, because it had been so long.  I didn't recognize her and couldn't remember the pieces of info she was dropping in about how we were together about a dozen years ago.  When I was leaving, she hugged me, kissed my cheek, and said, "Oh, MOM!!"   When we left, Dave indicated something, and I suddenly knew who she was and how we had been together about a dozen years ago.  We definitely will be getting back together.

Before I was leaving, I was also asked to sit in the center prayer chair.  They laid hands on me and prayed for my "Annie" book. They all bought one, and a couple paid more than I would have anticipated.

4)  Just as I reached home, I there was a voice message on our home phone.  We reached home about 8:30.  A couple hours earlier, one of my Bhutanese gals, whose baby was due on August 22nd, had been taken to the hospital, because her back and other aspects indicated the baby was coming.  I got to the hospital about 45 minutes later.  I had had to change my clothes and put things together, assuming I might be at the hospital for a couple days.

When I got there, it was indicated the baby might arrive by midnight.  WOW!  I just sat next to her and held her hand.  Her husband was around and about and doing anything he could.  His mom was there also.  As the evening increased they were able to sleep.  I could not.  I sat and held her, helped the nurses and did whatever I could.  NEVER having been a medical person or helper, the baby situations in the past 3 years have opened another whole different portion of my life.

About 2 AM, the nurses determined that the baby was in a difficult situation.  His head was UP, his legs were DOWN.
ME!
So, instead of the baby being naturally born, a C-Section was necessary.  I have never, ever been in a surgery portion, but I was asked to be the one in that room when the surgery was in place.  I ended up sitting by Suk's head and holding her hand.  That's all I could do.  At 3:39 the baby was officially born and he was having a bit of difficulty in breathing, but about 1/2 hour later he was doing much better.  At 4:45, she was entering her room.  The little one could not be there, for a bit of time and I didn't see him out of the baby nursing room.

At 5:00 I arranged to head for home, and going around and about the hospital, etc., I got home at 5:30.  I was in bed at 5:45, and asleep at 6:00.  Slept off and on until 10:00 AM today.

WHAT A DAY YESTERDAY!!!  Filled with blessings, filled with work, filled with helping the Lord and filled with joy.  And most of it is not coming to conclusions for that day, but will be opening more and more further and for the future.

Book, Baby, Blessings, and Blessings, and Blessings.
Now, TODAY!! Still tired, but filled with joy!

A BLESSING WHILE DRIVING AROUND AND ABOUT!

I can't give the dates and the exact locations and the people.  It would hurt some hearts with world-wide info.  So, I'll only give the story and event bits.  The Lord laid it on me to tell this some time ago, and I'm doing it now.

===============
In the mid-time of Spring, about 10 years ago, I was asked to drive out to mid-Colorado and help a small family load their basic home items and pour to them protection and encouragement.  I would be with them wherever they were moving which was several hundred miles east of their Colorado town.  I had loved this family, and truly wanted to help.  That was no questionable issue.

I was driving West from Omaha, and  worshiping loudly, as usual.  Suddenly, while about 300 miles from home, something jumped into my head.  I had been singing, thinking, praying, and worshiping and then I suddenly said, "And why am I the one who is going there and doing this?"  And I suddenly heard the Lord speak to me rather loudly.  He said, "Because...I...can...trust...you."

WOW!!

When I reached the location... about 650 miles from home... I was greatly welcomed by that couple.  Then, met other family members that lived nearby them, and they were NOT happy to see me, because they knew I was helping them move and they didn't want them to leave.  It also became very clearly that other gods were being worshiped by the outside family.  I was shown much, around and about, while taking my friend's small boy with me, mostly going to stores and parks.  THEN, at the end, to a cemetery so he'd see his uncle's burial location and say "goodbye".  And, taking him around, gave his folks a chance to do housework without watching him and keeping track of him.

I was busy all day.  I have a photo of the two of us that is still on my refrigerator after all these years.  His dad took a picture of us when we were sitting by the porch near where stuff was being loaded into the U-Haul and we were munching ice cream cones.

The next day, fairly early, we hit the road to my house in Omaha. The driving went OK.  I had actually thought I could go ahead of their two cars, get home, and prep before their arrival, and hug and kiss my hubby before they got to the house.  One of my friends, and the Lord, laid it on me to follow, lift them up to the Lord constantly, and keep an eye on whatever was at risk for them and theirs.  So, I pulled in our house right after them instead of ahead of them.

The next day, we hit the road to go further.  Another 500 miles.  Again, I was the follower, because, when on the interstate, I was reminded by my friend, to follow, not to lead.  The Lord laid it on me, too, very heavily.

Miraculously, I truly was in the right place.  Suddenly, a couple hundred miles away from Omaha, the wind suddenly struck the U-Haul, attached to his van, started to turn up and down, side to side, and beginning to crush the whole thing.  To be behind, seeing, praying, hollering to the Lord, to angels, to Godly protection, it suddenly straightened back down.  Shortly after, we stopped to eat lunch at a fast food place, and were so amazed, and praying together, how the Lord took care of this.  Another five hours or so later, they were where they needed to be.  AND, all these years later, they still are at that house, and are special and wonderful Godly-oriented people and mixed with many spiritually strong people in their area.  It's a blessing.

So, the Lord telling me to go, telling me I was His choice, and obeying Him when driving approximately 2400 miles [including my return home the day after they reached their place] was a real heart-treat for me.
Hope you will rejoice, too, about how the Lord enters lives and saves lives and pours many blessings.
