PEACE OF THE LORD ON MY HEART!
Even though I've shared this photo and Word more than once over this stretch of time as a blogger, today it grabbed me again! In May, '84, during a very dangerous stretch of my life, I was very sad and very worried re: me and my kids. A process of divorce then. Laying in the Psalms was a truly stretch of time in those days. The Lord had laid a bunch of it on me, and this really said the right Word at the right time.
Within several months later, I was thoroughly filled with peace!! I had come back up from Oklahoma to Omaha in September, '84. Saw friends. Suddenly, the Lord had healed my heart in Omaha at 2 churches. Even though I knew my heart was a challenge, but just sleeping and doing what I could do, even though I got so stressful. However, I was suddenly in churches with friends -- October, '84 and February, '85 -- and, not understanding what was going on at those churches at those times --- at both places healing was taking place and I had no idea that I was going to be healed. I was 39 then. Well, amazingly, the Lord had things dropped onto me. So, my heart was healed then ... and He'd also done it at a church in summer of '74 when I was 28. I'm very blessed re: His healing situations for me and millions and billions historically, of course. I'm a "blessing the Lord" person, strongly!
I would have been in Heaven 31 or 41 years ago, or even when I was a kid with serious stuff connected at me strongly. Now, at 70, it's not my heart issue, but other things. I keep hearing I'll be in Heaven soon, and day-by-day, for several months now, when praying and worshiping I keep hearing it. I don't mind being in Heaven, b/c I'd see a lot of people who amazingly had come to the Lord... I've been involved with many people in serious non-God situations and they came to the Lord and, in the not-distant future, were in Heaven. Anyhow, I'm trusting the Lord for the consequences.
OH, and as a little kid, I was taught to be a fighter to protect me and my sisters, and I was an angry kid way back then. I'm very grateful that the Lord officially broke into my life when I was 20. I'd known OF Him even when I was very young, but hadn't known if or when it would be possible or important to turn to Him. I was heading to suicide a couple of years, especially when I was 18 and 19, and because I was very sinful in Seattle. I'm very grateful that the Lord dropped people into my life and I knew what I should do. April 15, 1966, at 6:30 in the evening at someone's home in Tacoma that was sharing very straightful at me, I knew this was the right thing to do. What a blessing!!
NOW, talking too much at you, etc. But this verse, and used on the photo taken Dave and I were in Uganda as missionaries, this has always grabbed my heart and my attention.

PSALM 34... VERY IMPORTANT TO AND FOR ME!!
The Lord laid this very strongly on me this morning. I couldn't go to churches, b/c I can't drive any more and I usually go to two of them on the same morning. He told me to read Psalm 34. I have read it for many years, and a couple of the verses in it have been very important to me. Not on this picture, but especially back in May, '84, He laid it strongly on me:
Depart from evil and do good;
seek, inquire for, and crave peace and pursue
(go after) it!
Ps. 34:14
When the Lord dropped Ps. 34:11 on me especially back in Sept. 2, '07, I was driving from the Northwest to my place in Omaha, at least 1800 miles. This verse was heavily on me since my kids and grandkids were having family situations that were serious. Well, I've never forgotten, that, while on a phone in my car that one of the family guys had called and was filled with sorrowfulness, I had someone take a picture of me at a special strong river area in Idaho. So here's a "me", who smiles, even though that verse has never left me when thinking of where and when it grabbed at me.
Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you to revere and
worshipfully fear the Lord.
Ps. 34:11

PRAISE THE LORD!!
Way back in April, 1984, when I was going to have to deal with divorce, which I had never anticipated since when married Christmas Eve, '68, all I could trust was the Lord re: the situation. Very serious, to say the least. During that time, living in the Bible one way or another many years, then, during the divorce time, I strongly was placed in that portion of the Psalms and this verse broke in then.
It was a blessing for me.
NOW, as my age and body issues have increased with seriousness, I've truly, day-by-day and night-by-night, been a worshiper and praiser for my Heavenly Father. I've also been sharing Him around to many when I'm driving or walking. I'm truly telling people about the Lord. Sometimes... nearly every day for the past 5 months... He has me walk nearby in my neighborhood area or drive about 20 miles in the Omaha local area or a total of 100 miles around and about towns outside of the Omaha area, and it is clearly shown that the Lord is the King and the only One to be accepted and worshiped strongly.
That's what counts with and for me... and for everyone else.

HIS GLORIES AND GRACE!
I'VE SHARED THIS PHOTO WITH THE WORD BEFORE,
AND DOING IT AGAIN TODAY,
BECAUSE THE TRUTHFULNESS OF IT
HAS GRABBED MY HEART.
PRAISING HIM THANKFULLY IS
ALL I/WE CAN EVER DO
WHEN HERE IN THE WORLD,

YES, I WILL PRAISE HIM...
APPROXIMATELY 30 YEARS AGO, I UNDERLINED AND PUT THE DATE AS MAY, 1984, IN MY BIBLE. AT THAT TIME, FOR SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE AND AFTER MAY, I WAS IN A VERY SAD-FILLED PORTION OF LIFE. I AGREED WITH THE WORD THAT I WOULD FOCUS ON HIS GLORIES AND GRACE AND NOT ACCUSE OR REFUSE HIM IN ANY WAY.
HE TRULY IS ALL THAT COUNTS ON ME
FOREVER AND EVER.
[YES, I LOVE MANY PEOPLE; YES, I ENJOY THEM IN MY LIFE.
BUT MY LORD IS THE ONE I WILL LOVE AND ENJOY FOREVER.

BOAST OF KINDNESS
ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES TO STOP AT A SIDE-VIEW BY THE CLIMBING PORTION OF THE OREGON HIGHWAY. CAN REJOICE AT SEEING THE COLUMBIA RIVER, WITH LONGVIEW, WA, AND MOUNT ST. HELENS IN THE DISTANCE, SOMETIMES WITH
NO CLOUDS COVERING IT...
THIS TIME THE MOUNTAIN SEEN VERY SLIGHTLY ON THE RIGHT SIDE
OVER THE HILLS, BUT SEEABLE.
AND, BTW, YES, I MUST...WILL....BOAST OF HIS KINDNESS.

PSALM 34:1 ... HIS GLORIES AND GRACE
Our "walls" can break,
bits and pieces can drop on us,
may hurt or ruin us ...
BUT our Father is worthy of our praise...
constantly,
forever and ever.
