This was a gift from my friend, Susie,
13 years ago. On June 1, 1999, the
scripture was dropped into my life
and expressed through her.
We both knew that
spiritual warfare ministries
were very important to me --
and this verse popped up.
AND the addition she shared
about the valley and mountain top is one of the most wonderful truths in our life.
Friends in the Lord count more to each other than anything imaginable
when we walk together,
serving Him.
So, with this wisdom planted in our
hearts, souls and spirits,
Let us support,
encourage,
and bless
each other.

You have an encourager's heart Joanne. It is so important to encourage one another - and especially in warfare.
I have moved blogs and hope you will drop by my new blog called "Encourage One Another".

WOW!
And to think, I still don't know how to do that with words on images. That miss Susie is one talented lady, but more importantly, she is one God-grande princess of the Most High King!
Blessings.
(thanks for sharing your encouragement!)
We've been walking each other home since Day 1, haven't we?! What a glorious day it will be when we arrive.
Blessings for all the ways you encourage and strengthen others.
PS: and thanks to Darlene for her comment, too!
I love this! Are you familiar with the hymn "For the God of the mountains, is still God in the valley. When things go wrong, He'll make them right...."? It is such a precious reminder. I have it on a VCR of southern gospel music and love the words.

Cary Jo--first of all--LOVE your banner photo of Mt. Rainier. In my neck of the woods (Seattle) we get to see that often.
Second--Isaiah 42;16--seriously, JUST wrote that down again in my journal--a re-visit from a journal entry last year, which God wanted me to remember...the part about the light.
Oh, the Holy Spirit is wonderful.
beautiful post.
The best friends are those who encourage us in the Lord. You are so blessed! Thanks for sharing.
