I should have labeled the photo. The mountain was at the Glacier Nat'l Park, also. Don't know the name. Dave and I drove through there on July 4, 1994. It was gorgeous -- cold and snowy, even on that day! -- but beautiful.
I've been dreaming about mountains lately, and your blog reminds me of these dreams! I love the verse of hinds' feet on high places. One of my favorite books is Hinds' Feet on High Places, which depicts the Christian's often perilous journey to the mountaintop, but always in the protection of the Shepherd. Thanks for the lovely post, & God bless, Laurie
Caryjo -- my very favorite book, Hinds Feet in High Places! To learn to trust through the hard places when our companions are those we might not choose, that one day our feet will rest securely at the summit from which the view will be absolutely AMAZING as we stand awed in the Presence of Almighty God.

I loved your pictures. I especially love your Mt. Ranier picture. You've captured this Washington girl's heart. :)
What lovely pictures! Is the mountain Mt. Ranier?

This is lovely! Your blog always makes me want to travel to mountainous regions. :)
Hinds feet on high places by Hannah Hurnard, one of my favorite books of all time. Yes...HE does take us to the high places.
One of my favorite scriptures and books. I love the picture!
I love that verse!!!
What an inspiration our Lord is!!! He gives us courage and strength to step out trusting Him that He places our feet right where they need to be! :)
What a blessing to wake up and welcome another day! Thank you Heavenly Father!
Love those happy feet.
A great reminder of a wonderful Lord.

Oh, yes. I just read in my daily bible reading about how He sets our feet on the rock. Amen.
I love the book Hinds Feet on High Places and this verse and the picture remind me of it. Just wonderful.
