hey friend! Thanks for your recent comment at my place. It really was such a joy meeting you. Hope we can connect again soon. Come to Chicago once this snow goes away. {Hugs}
Love this, Caryjo! I have recently been increasing my practice of... silence. And I am finding it a very empowering thing. I have no idea just how many fusses, frets, arguments, misunderstandings, and entanglements this has prevented, but I'm sure it must be a goodly number. Practicing this is also enabling me to measure and weigh the words I do speak, realizing that usually it's really true that less is more (effective). Great picture, great wisdom. Thanks.

Ain't that the truth! Most of us would do well to keep still, keep quiet, start listening!
Great counsel from God's Word, Cary Jo!
Oh yes, holding our mouth is not an easy thing! Love this!
Gotta remember to keep my mouth shut...
I love this bird.
Dear Joanne
This is a great reminder that our words should be few and thought through before we speak, thanks!

Love this photo/scripture pairing. Silent, pondering gull giving substance to Proverb's wisdom.
Oh, so true! I'm always amazed how much more God does when I just keep my mouth shut and step out of his way. Nice photoe, CaryJo!
Love the way you set this up today Caryjo.
Thanks for linking to Sunday Stillness.

Sometimes we can talk just to talk, can't we? It is so much wiser to stop and listen to God before we speak! Love this picture!
Blessings, Joan
