ANIMALS AND BIRDS IN NAIROBI, KENYA!

        Trusting the Lord is all that counts.  In February, '91, we were in Nairobi and getting ready to head for home in Omaha.  Being driven through this special "zoo" outside of town was a blessing.  My husband was sick a lot of the time and he was still able to be in the car when a long-time Ugandan missionary wanted to take us there.  It was a blessing.  So a few pictures again.  I'm a happy lady when I see the pictures we took then.

BEASTS OF THE FIELD...

AND THE WATER WAS RIGHT BY THE DRY AREA
AND THE BIRDS WERE REALLY HAPPY!

=================
Dave and I were just leaving Uganda after our first visit in late February, 1991.  We ended up in the Nairobi area for a couple days.  Our plane should have left immediately, but the Gulf War had just finished.   Strangely, when in mid-January leaving home, a significant portion of the war messed us up in New York City and London.  We arrived in Uganda later than anticipated by at least 3 days.   Then, those weeks later, while leaving Uganda, the warfare event had the same effect.  So many flights around the world were messing things up.  And, amazingly, we were blessed.  While we were spending a couple days in Nairobi a missionary organization took care of us, and one of the main guys drove us around and about at the Nairobi National Park.  It was so filled with some many of our favorite animals and birds.  AND the Word the Lord dropped onto me recently could be fit into these photos.

What a treat THEN...and many treats afterward when in Uganda, Costa Rica, Morocco and the U.S. ... to take photos of animals and wonderful people.

YOUNG BRIDE...BARREN DESERTS

AND EVEN THOUGH I AIN'T A YOUNG 'UN,
I HOPE I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW HIM...
MOMENT-BY-MOMENT,
DAY-BY-DAY,
YEAR-BY-YEAR.

HE'S ALL I CAN COUNT ON FOREVER,
EVEN THOUGH BLESSED BY MANY
LOVING FAMILY AND FRIENDS,
INCLUDING MY DEAR EARTHLY HUSBAND.
