SOROTI'S ROCK! |
Well, a couple days ago, he finally described exactly how we had known each other. When I was going into one of the restaurants that was downtown, not too far from where I was helping people, and sometimes I was so sorrowful and was crying. He was an encouragement, and sometimes touched my arm and showed his kindness to me. And, as far as I recall, he was in his teens. When I had been ready to leave Soroti, he had given a picture of him and gave me an email address. When I was home, I emailed him, and I never heard anything. So, I lost him. Never thought I'd see him again.
Now we are friends on FB, and he has given me more information re: how he knew me and how it was nice to see me way back then. I accepted the friendship on FB. I had to smile when I looked at all the people on his group. I'm the only white colorful person and the others are obviously in Uganda. A couple others just don't show their faces.
Anyhow, just wanted to share this with all of you, b/c this was a real suddenly gifted piece.

What a blessing to renew friendship and become a friend on FaceBook too. Thank you for sharing with us here at Tell me a Story.
That's so cool! God gave you a reminder of who you are and what you've done for Him. What a gift from a brother that honors our Father and you for your service. Too cool...
