PROVERBS 26:20

As I grow deeper and deeper into the heart of my Lord, I desire more and more to become a non-whisperer, a non-source of contention.

That is my hope.

A needed word for me tonight! I was just complaining to my husband about someone and then said, "listen to us talk negativity, we shouldn't be doing that!" He then said, "Ah...did you notice I haven't said a word!" YIKES! Convicted! Then I sat down, picked the computer up and come check out your site. LOL!

I think of this verse often, and hopefully obey it too!

Don't you love it that God knew we would need this verse? Praying He helps me to obey this truth faithfully. Thanks for sharing!

I need to share this with my grandgirl. Some of the kids have been teasing her, and she just needs to smile and quit being wood. :)

these are words to the wise tonight, CaryJo ... let's band together to say 'no' to slander, gossip, and all the rest of that ...

It is such a blessing to be in the presence of those who are not full of strife and rebel rousing! As believers, we must always be mindful of striving to avoid causing trouble.

Beautiful verse, and I love the photo you paired with it, too. Quite thought provoking.

Also, I hope you have recovered from your fall! Have a happy Sunday.

Amen to this!

A very appropriate visual to go with that verse. Thought provoking, challenging. I, too, am learning in deeper ways to keep my mouth shut. Seems to be an ongoing lesson though...good words for this morning - thank you.

We always need a whisperer... even God whispered as an example for us.
