MISSIONING IN UGANDA, IN AND OUT OF KAMPALA.
DID IT FROM 1991 TO 2004 WHEN THE LORD SENT US OVER A FEW TIMES, FOR A FEW WEEKS OR A FEW MONTHS
AND WE TRULY LOVED IT.
WE DEVELOPED "FAMILY" AND FRIENDS,
AND THAT WAS A BLESSING THEN...AND STILL NOW.
THEY'RE STILL IN OUR HEARTS FOR DAVE AND I.

BTW, THE TAXI SITUATION WAS AMAZINGLY.
IT WAS A BLESSING TO SHARE THE WORD OF GOD,
AND BEING APPRECIATED BY THE PEOPLE IN THE TAXI.

EVEN AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
SINCE I'VE NOT BEEN THERE
SINCE I'VE NOT BEEN THERE
I'VE OFTEN THOUGHT OF IT AND REJOICED.

Amen. God meets us where we are.
Hi CariJo,
How fun to hear that you lived and worked in Uganda for a while. I grew up in Western Africa for many years and loved it too. I miss it, and the people and food there.
Have a great week,

That's a great story and awesome picture!
We may have crossed paths; I was working contract security and interdiction. Sometimes, we used to say...The Shepherd needs a sling and a stone.
Here from Still Saturday; #5.
