HOLY, HOLY, HOLY...

ON OUR WAY HOME FROM UGANDA IN '95
WE WERE IN ENGLAND WITH A FRIEND,
AND WE WERE TAKEN
INTO LONDON FOR THIS AMAZING EVENT.
IT WAS IN EARLY MAY, 1995, THAT THE HUGE PARTY
WAS TAKING PLACE.
50 YEARS AT THE END OF WWII.
MANY PEOPLE FROM MANY NATIONS WERE AT THE PARK,
AND DANCING AND REJOICING TOOK PLACE.

AND THIS WAS A REJOICING PIECE, TOO...
 WE WERE BLESSED!!

My Mom and Dad were in Normandie for the celebration there. Dad is a D-Day survivor.
My husband and I went with them for the 55th anniversary in 1999 - an unforgettable experience.

Such wonderful memories!!
Thank you for your entry at “Tell Me a Story.” I have been off line due to computer failure and virus problems, but my husband gave me a different computer so I am back on line – just lost a bunch of stuff including all my e-mail addresses..
Please return Monday around 5:00PM PST when the new week will be open for your story at: http://letmetelluastory.blogspot.com/
