We use to have one of those birds or something close to it running around our yard in Papua New Guinea. One of the men from a village close by came by one day and wanted it so we gave it up. They ate it...said it was tough. Because the bird had ate po po a fruit over there and poop the seeds from it all over our yard, we had a good crop of po po trees which was a huge praise.
