This reminds me of one of my life verses: "He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure." Psalm 40.2 So grateful that God is my Rock!!!!
Love this - lots of phrases come to mind: standing guard, a fortress, I will look unto the hills, a city set on (well, in front of...) a hill, in the shadow of, security, stability - great photo. Thanks.
